AJ Zolicoffer

Born and raised in Texas, attended college in Miami, Florida, and played professional basketball in Europe. Aj's family is without question his greatest accomplishment. Husband of 18 years (Shawnte') and father of 5, Max 6, AJ jr. 7, Samantha 8, Zaniyah 9, and Adrianna 20.

Rapid Skillz is a community youth development program that uses sports to cultivate drive, illuminate vision, and maximize potential of future leaders. Coach AJ uses accelerated methods of instruction to give our kids the competitive advantage they need to succeed, win and become future champions.

After the completion of her college basketball career at Western State Colorado, Andi immediately began her college coaching career at Division I Bradley University in Peoria, IL.  After two seasons assisting there, she went on to be the recruiting coordinator at Division II Quincy University.  A year later, she accepted the head coaching position at an NAIA school in Missouri where she led the team for five years.  She then stepped down in order to spend more time as a mom and to support her husband Michael as his coaching career began to accelerate.  Since that time she has coached both boys and girls basketball at the middle school level, as well as coaching track, cross country, and volleyball.

Before coming to Rapid City, Michael served as Head Coach of Division I Bradley University for four seasons.  He had also served as an assistant there for two seasons.  Before going to Bradley, Michael served as an assistant football coach for three different college teams, assisted on both girls and boys teams at the high school level, and was a head high school track coach, all before beginning his college basketball coaching career as an assistant at the NAIA level.  Michael stepped away from the college level to spend more time with his kids and their sports.  Here in Rapid, he has been the head girls coach at Stevens for three seasons and the assistant boys coach for one. Michael completed his athletic and academic career at Western State Colorado.
