Born and raised in Texas, attended college in Miami, Florida, and played professional basketball in Europe. Aj's family is without question his greatest accomplishment. Husband of 19 years (Shawnte') and father of 5, Max 6, AJ jr. 7, Samantha 9, Zaniyah 10, and Adrianna 20.

After the completion of her college basketball career at Western State Colorado, Andi immediately began her college coaching career at Division I Bradley University in Peoria, IL. After two seasons assisting there, she went on to be the recruiting coordinator at Division II Quincy University. A year later, she accepted the head coaching position at an NAIA school in Missouri where she led the team for five years. She then stepped down in order to spend more time as a mom and to support her husband Michael as his coaching career began to accelerate. Since that time she has coached both boys and girls basketball at the middle school level, as well as coaching track, cross country, and volleyball.
